AccuTite NYC

What is Accutite NYC?

Accutite is an incredible, minimally invasive device which uses RFAL, or radio frequency assisted lipolysis which tightens the skin and removes excess fat. With Accutite, hard to reach areas are now easily targeted using a double sided cannula, which delivers radio frequency both internally and externally. Accutite uses the same technology as BodyTite and FaceTite. Accutite in particular, is mainly used to treat smaller areas that FaceTite and BodyTite cannot reach. This device delivers less energy within these smaller areas for more precision.

It can be used in several areas such as any areas with saggy skin, brows, periorbital region, nasolabial fold, lower face, and neck. Patients can also receive AccuTite on the body such as the axilla, upper arms, abdomen etching, inner thighs, knees, and areas for women’s health and wellness. With Accutite, patients can receive permanent and immediate results that include skin tightening and smoother skin.

What makes Accutite different from other procedures?

Accutite the one the smallest minimally invasive radiofrequency contraction device to address smaller hard to reach areas of the face and body. It is perfect for patients that want to treat small areas without large scarring.

Accutite at Millennial Aesthetics

During any kind of procedure or treatment, Dr. David Shokrian will ensure every patient is safe, comfortable, and relaxed during the whole process. At Millennial, AccuTite is performed in the comfort of our office in Manhattan. Any areas will be cleaned and prepped for AccuTite, local anesthesia is available to minimize any discomfort.

Benefits of AccuTite:

- Average of 15 minutes of treatment

- No general anesthesia

- No incisions

- No downtime

- No scarring Accurate, precision guided heat therapy

At Millennial Plastic Surgery, similarly to BodyTite and FaceTite, our Accutite treatments are also performed with local anesthesia with sedation to provide comfort and relaxation for our patients. Since Accutite is mainly used for smaller areas of the face and body, general anesthesia is normally not used.

Afterwards, Dr. David Shokrian will make tiny incisions with a small needle to allow a thin cannula and the electrode placed on the surface of the skin. RF or thermal energy will flow throughout the cannula to the electrode to melt down fat internally and externally and tighten the skin simultaneously. Our machines are also regulated to be precise and effective with automatic safeguards to help avoid any thermal injury on the skin.

Depending upon the number and size of the targeted area, Accutite procedures can be 15 minutes to an hour.

Recovery and Results

Expect swelling and tenderness in the treated areas for at least 5 days. Most patients can resume work within 7-10 days. Redness and bruising are other common side effects that could occur after the procedure. Before the treatment, Dr. Shokrian and his staff will outline necessary precautions. Patients can go back to their daily routine within a few days after the procedure.

After one week, there will be significant and visible improvement in your skin’s laxity. Your skin will tighten and be more contoured quickly over the first 3 to 4 months. Results will be noticeably visible within 6 weeks. You will continue to see improvements for up to a year after your treatment.
